Red 111 Solvent Dye For Smoke Compositions, Resin, Lacquers & Paints

Red 111 is a solvent dye supplied in a 1/2 lb quantity. It is soluble in organic solvents rather than water, dissolving to give a transparent red color with good depth and clarity, and it disperses evenly through the medium instead of settling out as a pigment would.

It is used to tint resins, lacquers, stains and industrial coatings, and it is the standard class of colorant for pyrotechnic smoke compositions, where the dye sublimes and carries the color into the smoke rather than burning.
