Yellow 33 Solvent Dye Powder

Yellow 33 solvent dye is a solvent-soluble powder colorant supplied in half-pound packages. It dissolves in common organic solvents rather than dispersing as a pigment, so it colors clear systems without clouding them, and it holds its shade well on exposure.

It is used to tint casting resins, lacquers, varnishes and solvent-based paints, and it is one of the standard dyes used in colored smoke compositions. Work with the dry powder in a ventilated area with appropriate protection; it stains skin and surfaces readily.
