500ml MMB (3-methoxy-3-methyl-1 butanol) Solvent

MMB, 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol, is a laboratory grade glycol ether alcohol supplied as 500 ml of clear liquid. It is a slow-evaporating, low-volatility solvent that dissolves both polar and nonpolar material and is miscible with water.

It is used as a coalescing and coupling solvent in waterborne coatings, printing inks and adhesives, as a cleaning solvent in electronics and precision parts washing, and as a component of industrial cleaners and paint strippers. Low odor and low toxicity relative to older glycol ethers make it a common substitute in those formulations. The liquid is flammable.
