Neodymium Oxide 99.9% Purity 325 mesh

Neodymium oxide at 99.9 percent purity, ground to 325 mesh and supplied in 250 g quantities. It is a pale lavender to blue-gray rare earth oxide, stable in air and at elevated temperature.

Its principal use is as feedstock for neodymium metal and NdFeB permanent magnets in motors, generators and consumer electronics. It is also used to color glass and ceramic glazes in violet to wine tones, in didymium welding and glassblowing lenses, and as a dopant in laser crystals and glasses. The 325 mesh grade disperses readily into batch mixes.
